Effective Training for Effective Courts

To provide the best possible public service, courts need up-to-date, effective training on issues ranging from caseload management to the latest developments in the law. The Michigan Judicial Institute, SCAO's continuing education division, offers a wide variety of programs for judges and court staff. Judges "vote" with their attendance and also evaluate each program. Prior year data is from the 2010-2011 academic year; current year data is from the 2011-2012 academic year. The judicial conference does not take place every year and training requirements may change; for those reasons, the number of judges attending may fluctuate significantly from year to year. |
