Community Dispute Resolution

Why It Matters

Community Dispute Resolution Centers

Community dispute resolution centers provide an alternative method of resolving problems, using local mediators trained in collaborative mediation.  It is a voluntary process, often more appropriate than adversarial litigation.  Not all cases can be resolved through mediation and mediators should not force a settlement, thus the State Court Administrative Office does not expect 100% of cases to be resolved through the centers.
