The Michigan Judicial Institute (MJI) is the State Court Administrative Office’s continuing education division.

 

MJI provides live and web-based educational seminars for judicial branch employees. MJI also produces legal reference publications, including our popular benchbooks, designed specifically for Michigan judges.

 

MJI also oversees the Michigan Supreme Court Learning Center—an educational experience for children and adults.

Bradene Moore will be joining MJI on May 13, 2013, as our new Judicial Educational Analyst. Bradene comes to MJI from the University of Toledo, where she was an associate professor within the paralegal studies and legal assisting programs for 20 years. Prior to that, she worked in private practice and was a federal bankruptcy law clerk. Bradene graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1985.
 
At MJI, Bradene will be primarily responsible for planning and facilitating substantive seminars for trial court judges. In addition, she will monitor all recent court and legislative activity and assist with creating the IMPACT e-mails.
