Supreme Court Clerk's Office 2014 Survey
Survey Data Summary.pdf
The Michigan Supreme Court Clerk's Office would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey on the performance and operation of the office. Although it is gratifying to read the many positive comments about the office, we will not rest on our laurels. Instead, we recognize there is room for improvement and will strive to serve the parties, attorneys, and public even better in the future. In response to the question "What can the Clerk's Office do better," many people requested that the Court implement an electronic filing system. A joint Supreme Court/Court of Appeals e-filing system is in the final stages of testing at this time and should be available in just a few months. Several people also asked that the Court's website include a list of cases in which the leave application was granted or where argument has been ordered on the application. That list is now available on the Cases Awaiting Argument web page. The list doesn't include summaries of the issues in the cases but that information can be gleaned from the pleadings, which are linked to the cases. We hope to continue a dialogue with practitioners and the public about the operation of the Clerk's Office and what tools or functions you would like to see on the Court's website. Please feel free to email any comments or suggestions to MSC_Clerk@courts.mi.gov.
