Co​mponent 36 of the Case File Management Standards regarding destruction of files was updated to clarify the preparations courts should make for file destruction projects.  In addition, Component 39 of the Case File Management Standards​ was updated to reflect the amended description for probate case type PO.​

The State Court Administrative office is accepting suggestions for revisions to SCAO-approved forms and suggestions for new forms for the fall workgroups listed below. E-mail your suggestion to courtformsinfo@courts.mi.gov. Please send your proposal no later than June 30, 2018:

• Estates and Protected Individuals Code (Meeting 9/6/18)
• Mental Health and Commitment (Meeting 9/13/18)
• Child Protective Proceedings (Meeting 9/20/18)
• Delinquency and Designated (Meeting 9/27/18)

When submitting a proposal, provide sufficient information, including your name and e-mail address or telephone number, the form name and number (if one), the reason for your proposal, and any other information that will help us present your proposal for publication and comment.

On September 27, 2017, the Michigan Supreme Court adopted changes to MCR 2.625 and MCR 3.101, effective May 1, 2018. See ADM File 2016-40.​  The adopted changes will likely have an impact on several SCAO-approved garnishment forms​.
