Welcome to the MiCOURT Experience!
MiCOURT is a ‘one court’ Windows-based case management system. This application replaces current JIS case management systems.
The MiCOURT Experience is a set of tools made especially for your project. Our mission is simple: When it is time to migrate your data, you will be prepared! We have created a monthly newsletter to keep you informed on the rollout process, training and helpful resources to prepare you for your implementation. Making sure you are prepared for migration to MiCOURT is vitally important; by using the tools you receive in the MiCOURT Experience, we can ensure a smooth transition for you and your court.
The 29th Circuit Court in Clinton County went live on November 17 of this year! Our 2015 courts are getting ready to ramp up starting with the 56th Circuit Court in Eaton County, followed by: 35th Circuit-Shiawassee, 5th Circuit-Barry, 36th Circuit-Van Buren, 31st Circuit-St. Clair and 44th Circuit-Livingston.
2016: The 4th Circuit Court in Jackson will begin the 2016 line up, followed by: 26th Circuit-Alpena/Montmorency, 23rd Circuit-Alcona/Arenac/Iosco/Oscoda, 34th Circuit-Ogemaw/Roscommon and 38th Circuit Monroe.
We will begin branching out the court migration opportunities to other court systems outside of circuit. The following courts have agreed to be JIS ‘premier courts’ : P39 Kalamazoo-probate, P78 Shiawassee-juvenile and D65A in St. Johns-district.
2017: JIS will be prepared to migrate any court, and will try to migrate them on a first-come, first-served basis. Trial Court Systems (TCS) courts may begin the migration process, which will allow JIS to retire all current JIS applications upon the last court migration.
There are still plenty of slots yet to fill! Contact JIS to reserve your spot in the process.
