Training and Development
Child Welfare Services continues to implement judicial, attorney, and field worker trainings targeted toward child welfare system improvement. The trainings are based on Court Improvement Program committee findings and are developed collaboratively with various stakeholder community agencies, the Governor's Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect, and the Department of Human Services.
Court Improvement Program Training Grant
Child Welfare Services also provides training through its Court Improvement Program training grant. It collaborates with the Department of Human Services and other area agencies to develop trainings that are useful to a broad spectrum of professionals and that can be presented through various methods, such as webcasts, live onsite training, and summits.
